Yes, it's been a very, very long time! To tell you guys the truth, I had stopped participating in ALL of these websites that I have promoted to you. So basically it's either my account's been shut down or completely erased from their database.

I'll get to the point... I'll be renewing this blog. It will still be for what it was before: a place where I can share how I earn money online. It's going to be a slow pace for me for now since I have been doing a lot of things lately that have made me busy... please be patient with me.

Well, that's basically what I have to say here. So YES, my blog will NOT be going down. It will NOT be deleted. You are still free to try all of these websites I have been through before however it's now up to you if you can tell if it's a scam or not; I simply don't go to them anymore.

- By risks, you mean sharing of personal information or a scam just to get your PayPal address? First, they only ask you for your PayPal address, no more no less! And second, what use would they have if they know your PayPal address? Unless they can hack it well then that would become a dilemma. But I have confirmed on a lot of people that they're not a scam.

- Well, that's not my problem. I've tried my best to elaborate. Okay. So far, I've been busy with a lot of things here which includes my review for an upcoming examination in late May or early June. It's an international examination so I don't take it so lightly.

Anyway, I've been looking for other websites where you can earn some bucks but so far, I've bumped into one and I don't know if I could share it with you just yet. I'm not comfortable sharing a website that pays when I don't even have proof that it REALLY pays. So I'm still stumped. I've also found another website that would really benefit others especially those people living in the U.S., Canada, U.K, and Australia, I think however INTERNATIONAL members are also accepted. I've researched this website these past few days and so far, I've encountered no complaints of 'unpaid requests or checks'. That's why I've thought of sharing it with everyone today so here goes...

Cash Crate, what is it?

- To put it in simple terms, Cash Crate is a free website wherein you earn bucks by completing offers, referrals and competing in contests. This website also offers point based system wherein if you collected the right amount of points you'll be able redeem a prize in their 'prize shop'. Prizes range from coupons to game consoles (PSP, PS3, Wii).

How do you complete offers?

- Upon confirmation of your registration in Cash Crate, the website will provide you a list of available offers in your country. There are a lot of FREE offers (or so I've read) but there are also PAID offers. The offers can be credited to you once you click a link in your email confirming the transaction.

How much will I be getting by completing an offer?

- Depends on the offer you pick. The offers have their own payment equivalent to your registration. Once you click on a link, the payment will be accredited to your Cash Crate account. Don't worry, there is NO LIMIT to complete any offers. You can complete offers that are available to you.

What is the minimum payout? and how do they pay?

- They pay through checks. And the minimum payout is $20.

- Yes, anybody can join the website. They accept international members.

Is that all the information you can share?

- Okay. Let me give a brief explanation then. Pickjack (or PJ) pays you by making questions however in order for you to ask a question, you have to answer questions made by other members as well.

Now, I understand but how does this “Q&A” work?

- Well, as I’ve explained above, you have to answer questions made by members as well that way you’ll be able to ask a question. Now when you’ve answered a member’s question, you can now make a new question BUT that question must be connected to the previous question you’ve answered. In PJ, this is termed as RELATED QUESTION.

Can’t I just start a new, unrelated question instead?

- Yes, that is possible. But PJ has one condition: you have to make 10 RELATED QUESTIONS first before you can post a new, unrelated question.

Fine, I know how to post questions but what about the money? How do I earn from PJ?

- Ah of course. The temptation of money; none can ignore it because everybody needs it. PJ lets you earn money in three ways: one is when you receive rates from members, another is when they answer your answer questions and the other is when your referrals make questions (Yes! There’s a referral program!).

How much will I earn then?

- Hmmm… That’s the question that continuously baffles me as well. O_o

You don’t know?!

- To tell you the truth, I’m really confused about the amount earned in PJ so I really can’t pin-point the exact amount and PJ didn’t state any amount in their FAQs page. So sorry; I’m still researching that part. I promise to update this question when I’ve find out properly. ^^; Anyway, PJ updates your account every 6 hours so just try something and see. O_o

Sheesh. Anyway, how much is the minimum payout?

- I’m happy to inform you that the minimum payout is only $0.05. ^^

So when do I get paid then?

- Actually, I don’t have a clear idea on that part however don’t fret; PJ pays twice a month and sometimes, they even pay early. ^^ In your account, they’ll state when will be the next payout. Oh, and when they say you’ll get paid by March 3 (example), you’ll really get paid by that day instantly via PayPal.

What advice can you impart with us in PJ?

- Advice… Well, I can say for sure that it’s going to take hard work and a lot of effort to earn in PJ. It’s really not a lot of money. Heck, even the top earners got only 2 bucks and still counting. You really have to answer, answer, and answer a lot of questions then make, make, and make a lot of questions in turn. That will need long hours of work in the computer every day. So my advice to you is that don’t take PJ as a “get-rich-quick scheme”. Any paying legitimate website never lets you ‘get rich quick’, remember that. They just help you earn that extra buck. But I think I find it hard to think PJ lets me earn an extra buck. So be sure to think things through when joining in this website because let me part with you ONE MORE WARNING… When you don’t get to post questions the next day, PJ DEDUCTS your earnings! So it’s really annoying there to tell you the truth, one moment you’re earning but the next day you stop asking, they deduct your earnings. Tsk tsk tsk. Not a really cultivating website if you ask me. So please do think it over before joining. Make sure you’re determined enough to do it else you’ll just disappoint yourself. ^^

Tsk. Now I really doubt if I should join that website. But one last thing, do they really PAY?

Ciao has been the very first website in which I've earned money. I've joined this website last November, I think. The memory escapes me. ^^;

Anyway, let me share the basics of how this website works...

FIRST of all, What is Ciao?

- In simple terms, Ciao was a website offered to people in order to earn some money through writing reviews.

Reviews? What are "reviews"..?

- Now, reviews are written essays about certain products. Reviews can be about anything you pick. From cellphones to websites, you name the product and if Ciao's Catalog has it, you can write a review about it.

What am I supposed to write in review?

- Well, for example, you want to write about Nokia's 6680. You can write about its main features, advantages and disadvantages. One thing that makes the review unique and personal is when you add your experiences with the product involved. That way, you also avoid plagiarism.

What is Plagiarism?

- Plagiarism is a term used to connote a person copying from other people's work and post it as their own without proper consent. You should know that Plagiarism is against the rules in Ciao.

Will I earn from writing reviews?

- Hmmm... If you're depending your earnings by just writing reviews in Ciao then no is my answer. Why? Ciao has already removed the pay-to-review incentive last year. So you will earn there per rating.

Per rating? Now what's that?

- Upon writing a new review, members of Ciao will get to read and rate your review as to how they see it fit. You should receive positive ratings in order to earn of course. When you receive a postivie rating, you earn money. Simple as that.

Now, how much will I earn per rating then?

- The usual earn per rating is $0.01 and in some cases when the product has $, then your earn per rating becomes $0.03. Now, I know what you're thinking. "What?! Such a small amount!" or "How can I earn big with that?!" First of all, this website isn't a "get-rich-quick scheme"! This is just a way to help you earn some extra money. And second, you may think that's a small amount but think when a lot of people give you positive ratings, your earnings will go up and what's more is that the possibility of earning becomes endless because of the fact that you just have to invite other people to see your review. Please note that it's also against Ciao's rules to ask for reads and rates from other members.

Ok, ok. When will I get paid?

- Before the end of each month, you must request your payment. However you have to reach your minimum quota of $5 first. When you've reached that amount, you can request for payout but here's my advice: you should request your payout before the month ends because Ciao processes all the payments requests for two weeks after that, you'll receive your earnings via PayPal.

- For example, I've earned $5 so far but it's only February 25. I've still got 2days to earn more before I request payout on February 28. After two days, my earnings are now $7 and it's Feb. 28, I'll request my payment. Two weeks have passed and it's Monday, I've received an email from PayPal that I've been paid by Ciao.

Does Ciao have a referral program?

- They do however they've just changed the rules last Feb. 16, 2009. Ciao no longer gives the $1 incentive for every member that joins under you instead the reward for referring a friend becomes a 50% commission from their earnings for ONLY THE FIRST 6 MONTHS! Don't worry, it won't affect your earnings when you signed under someone. Afterward, you're on your own again. I told you Ciao has to make some ways to prevent more spam and hackers from coming in.

What tips can you impart in order for me to have a stable earnings in Ciao?

- Sadly, no human is perfect so of course, the website isn't also perfect. Nowadays, Ciao has been steadily becoming a huge dump because of the spammers and wannabe writers their who practice Plagiarism every single day. Real writers are now being forced to move elsewhere sometimes but not me, I'd like to give some help to Ciao by reporting those members as I also don't want to leave there just because of that.

- So the tips. Hmmm... Well, the best thing I can say to you is that you should write honest and quality reviews. Then search the website for decent and law-abiding writers as well, read and rate their works and soon enough, some of them will get curious about you and they would visit your works as well. If you've written good reviews, you would receive good ratings from them and you can also earn yourself some friends there. Your earnings might go slow at first but it's only because you're still new in the game. But later on, by reading works from excellent writers in Ciao, you'll be able to make yourself known to them. Just make sure when you leave a comment, you mustn't write "nice review" or "good review". Express your thoughts about it and share some opinions, that will surely get you noticed by them. That's how I primarily earn from the website.

- But unfortunately, I won't be teaching you how to do something dirty in Ciao. I'm just not that kind of person. If you want to earn by cheating then go find someone else who'll teach you how because I'm sure as hell that I won't.

Information received and understood. But one last thing, are they REALLY paying?

- Yes, of course. That will always be everybody's main doubt. The payment. Well, here... If you still can't take my word for it. Take the word of PayPal.

So let's face it... The Economic right now is really really bad. And presently, people have been running to the Internet for information on how to earn or job vacancies. So now, a lot of top-notch or 'unknown' companies have been coming out to offer a way to earn some extra money.

Before you get ahead of yourself and think that you no longer have to work a day in your life again, you are wrong! These methods I'm going to share with you now are NOT ways on how to get rich but at least, ways on how to earn some EXTRA cash. One thing I can assure you is that: these methods can be used long term or short term only.
